* There are two separate realms in which the story takes place. The first is called the Continuum and the second is called Existence.
* The Continuum is the realm of the Colossals who are beings comparable to gods.
– The realm of energy and creation
– Otherworldly
– Ethereal
– Incorporeal
* Existence is the realm of the mortals and other beings of indeterminate origin.
– The Realm of matter and of beginnings and endings
– Actuality
– Corporeal
The Colossals who reside within the Continuum are responsible for all creation and as such these Colossals created and brought forth Existence.
